IUNO è lieta di condividere il laboratorio che l’artista Michele Tocca sta svolgendo con gli studenti della III B dell’Istituto Comprensivo Dante Alighieri.

Il laboratorio, a cura di IUNO, è stato pensato per introdurre i piccoli partecipanti alla pittura e favorire lo sviluppo di una nuova modalità di visione a partire dall’osservazione del cielo e delle nuvole, considerate non come uno ‘sfondo’ ma come veicolo per iniziare a vedere il gesto creativo nel mondo che ci circonda.

A partire dall’osservazione dei fenomeni atmosferici, componente imprescindibile della ricerca artistica di Michele Tocca, i bambini sono stati introdotti alla pratica della pittura e alla rappresentazione dal vero attraverso una serie di esercizi pensati per stimolare le loro abilità percettive e immaginative.

Ogni incontro verte su una sfumatura differente del cielo a partire da immagini, storie, leggende e osservazione dal vivo. I bambini si sono confrontati con le tecniche del disegno, dell’acquarello, dei colori acrilici su tela.

A conclusione dell’esperienza, a fine maggio 2023, è prevista l’organizzazione di un evento/mostra ideata come restituzione finale del lavoro svolto durante gli incontri.

For IUNO Studio, Michele Tocca has been invited to conduct a workshop with third-graders from the Istituto Comprensivo Dante Alighieri in Rome.

Starting from observing the sky and clouds, the workshop, curated by IUNO, is developed to introduce children to painting and investigate new ways of observing. The sky and the clouds loose their original characteristic of being "mere background" and become a starting point of reflection aimed at understanding the creative gesture in the world around us.

Children are exposed to the practice of painting and depiction of reality through a series of exercises that develop their perceptual and creative skills by observing atmospheric phenomena, which is an essential component of Michele Tocca's artistic research.

Each single session focuses on a different sky’s shade, taking inspiration from images, stories, legends, live observation, and at the same time explores different artistic techniques such as drawing, watercolor, and acrylic paints on canvas.

As a conclusive moment of the workshop, in May 2023, a presentation of the children’s journey, during the months spent with Michele Tocca, will take the form of a final exhibition.
